About Fine Scottish Gifts:

Fine Scottish Gifts was started in 2006 by Ian Harland and Ian Howie in response to a strong belief in the craftsmanship and uniquely appealing design qualities of Scottish* artisans.

In order to improve the availability of this work and promote these qualities to a wider audience, the company was set up to utilise both director's previous experience in a way which benefits customers and craftspeople, as well as having a limited impact on the environment.

We believe that high-quality, low -volume items should be available to as large a market as possible, at a reasonable price, without dilluting the appeal of these hand-crafted goods. And we aim to provide as high a level of service as possible throughout our business. From suppliers to customers, and everything in-between.

We take great care in selecting the range available in our catalogues and on this site, and we hope this reflects in the products and services you receive.

*From time to time we will feature products which are not made in Scotland, but which do meet our exacting standards of craftsmanship and design. However, we will maintain a level of at least 80% of products which are made in Scotland by Scottish artists.
