There are few more recognisable Scottish icons than 'Eilean Donan' castle. It sits perched on a small island near the village of Dornie, at the meetiong point of three sea lochs, on the road to the Isle of Skye.

Steeped in history and more recently made even more famous by its part in the film 'Highlander' , Eilean Donan is an irressistible subject for artists and photographers.
