Calton Hill stands at the East end of Princes Street and, though only a short climb, it offers some of the finest views of Edinburgh.
The view from Calton Hill extends northwards to Fife and the Forth Rail and road bridges, eastwards to North Berwick and the Bass Rock, and southwards to the Pentland hills.
