The steep winding droving road known as 'The Devil's Staircase' forms perhaps the most challenging part of the West Highland Way. It snakes up the mountain like an alpine road, and at points it seems to be endless.
The incentive and the reward are the stunning views of Glen Coe and Etive Mor to the south, and to the North the Nevis range. Making the ascent more than worth the effort.
