' East Beach, Winter Sunrise ' by John Alexander Howie |
This image is printed on heavyweight (180mg²) matt photographic paper, with a blank border suitable for framing.
The village of Lossiemouth sits on a spit of land which sticks out into the Moray Firth on Scotland's North East coast. On either side of the village two beaches stretch for miles in either direction.
The most dramatic of these is the East Beach, whose sand dunes separate the Moray Firth from the River Lossie.
Due to its position on the North East coast the east beach provides many dramatic sunrises throughout the year.
Again, the colours in this photo are what was taken directly through the lens, with no filters and no image processing done afterwards.
